How do I connect to SpacePay?

Who can connect SpacePay?
Any business or individual that needs to accept cryptocurrency payments and receive fiat settlement. Contact our team to discuss your specific requirements and get onboarding details.
Payments
What cryptocurrencies and networks does SpacePay support?
SpacePay supports most major cryptocurrencies and networks. We continuously add new networks and tokens based on merchant demand. If you need a specific currency or network that isn't currently supported, contact support and we'll work to implement it.
What wallets can my customers pay with?
Over 500 wallets are supported, including MetaMask, Coinbase Wallet, Trust Wallet, Rainbow, Phantom, WalletConnect-compatible wallets, Ledger, Argent, Safe, Rabby, and Zerion. One integration covers the entire wallet ecosystem.
What does the checkout look like for my customers?
A single payment button embedded in your checkout page. When clicked, it transforms to show the payment amount, token, network, and the customer's connected wallet. The customer taps once more to confirm. Two taps total. No redirects, no QR codes, no external pop-ups.
Do my customers need to pay gas fees?
No. SpacePay enables gasless transactions. Your customers approve payments without needing native tokens for gas in their wallet.
How quickly will my customer's payment be credited to my account?
Once the customer's transaction is confirmed on the blockchain (a few seconds to a few minutes depending on the network), SpacePay converts the crypto to fiat and settles to your bank account. Average settlement time is under 2 hours. Funds are settled as EUR, GBP, or USD depending on your configuration.
Am I exposed to crypto price volatility?
No. Conversion from crypto to fiat happens at the moment of transaction. You receive the exact fiat amount quoted at checkout.
Is SpacePay custodial?
No. SpacePay is non-custodial. We never hold your customers' funds at any point. Transactions flow directly from the customer's wallet through our smart contract layer to settlement.
What about chargebacks?
Blockchain transactions are final and irreversible. There are zero chargebacks and zero payment disputes. Once a customer confirms a transaction, it cannot be reversed.
What settlement currencies are available?
EUR, GBP, and USD. Settlement goes directly to your bank account. No crypto custody, no manual conversion.
Do I need a minimum volume to use SpacePay?
No minimum volume requirements. SpacePay works for merchants at any scale.
Integration
How do I integrate SpacePay into my website or app?
SpacePay provides a RESTful API, webhook notifications, and SDKs. The core integration is minimal — drop in the SDK and you're accepting crypto at checkout. Full documentation, code examples, and a working sandbox are available at docs.spacepay.co.uk.
Is there a test or sandbox environment?
Yes. Every merchant gets sandbox access upon signup. You can simulate the full payment flow — payment creation, wallet interaction, webhook callbacks, and settlement — without processing real transactions.

Troubleshooting
What are common problems with transactions?
Payment window expired. If a customer's transaction is confirmed after the payment window closes, the payment may not be automatically matched. Contact support with the transaction hash and we'll resolve it.
Wrong token or network. SpacePay's smart contract layer validates transactions at the protocol level. Unsupported tokens or networks are rejected before settlement.
Underpayment. If the amount received is less than the invoice amount, the transaction will be flagged. You'll be notified via webhook and can handle it according to your business rules.
Slow network confirmation. Some networks can take longer during periods of high congestion. This is a blockchain network issue, not a SpacePay issue. The transaction will process once confirmed.

What if I need a feature or currency that SpacePay doesn't currently support?
